Autumn seems to be just around the corner. That means apple season begins, and I can hardly wait! Apple cider, apple cider donuts, apple pie, apple anything, and I am happy. In anticipation, and with the intention of keeping things healthy, I made this Apple Pie Smoothie. The great thing about it, it tastes just the real thing, but has so much less guilt attached! Packed with Vitamin A, protein, and omega 3 and 6, this smoothie is a actually healthy for you! Have your pie, and drink it too…..:)

Here’s what you need:
- 1 apple, chopped into bite sized pieces, core discarded
- 1/4- 1/2 cup light unsweetened coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon of flaxseeds
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
- pinch of nutmeg
- pinch of clove powder
- 3-4 ice cubes
Here’s what you do:
- Blend all ingredients together in a Ninja Kitchen System Blender (These are the best out there!) until smooth!
Voila! The best Apple Pie Protein Smoothie EVER!
